Our approach to training and development

The important difference with Blue Sky training is that it is integrated into the business; aligned to your business objectives and not treated as a stand alone project. Training works when it is integrated completely into the working environment. Newly learnt skills must be applicable the minute they have been learnt and they must deliver results. Through the Customer’s Eyes’ - an inspirational conference geared towards both disturbing, engaging and developing 400 managers from across the UK in ‘sales through service’.

Sage

Facilitation of the three day 2009 global leadership conference for all CEOs and MDs from around the world including interviewing the CEO on stage.

HBOS

A customer retention programme that incorporated the use of professional actors to deliver role play scenarios. People were engaged to such an extent that performance increased by 138%.

Experian

This programme involves taking leaders out of their comfort zones and practising true leadership with real consequences. One director talked about how it had changed his life and the programme stood head and shoulders above Cranfield or Harvard.

Blended approach

This uses a range of media, workshops, on-the-job training and self-directed learning to appeal to all learning styles. Examples include BBC Worldwide, East Midlands Electricity and BMW.

Our programmes are accredited by a diverse range of bodies, from industry associations to universities. Two examples are:

This management training programme has been accredited by Tyneside University and awarded a foundation degree in call centre management.

DVLA

This call centre based management development programme won three awards and was accredited by the Call Centre Association.
