Blue Sky’s Leadership and Management programmes help your senior teams develop their own behaviours in a way that drives the right behaviours within their teams.

- Before training begins, we engage the managers in their development process, we find out what they need and want, and how they like to learn.
- Working with complete transparency and buy-in from the individual we fully assess where they are now from a behavioural, knowledge, skill and cultural perspective, using a range of different tools. We then take this information and help them align it directly with the business need.
- The challenge phase is enlightening and often emotional. Managers assess their own performance, management and leadership behaviour in the light of what they have learnt.
- Development comes in many forms, depending on the individual, their needs and the business culture. Having prepared them to develop, we ensure they understand where they are now and where they need to be, and then use a range of techniques to get them there. This is a blended learning approach and may include: Action learning, project work, site visits, speed learning and mentoring.
- We measure development through assignments driven by the individual, and by agreed performance metrics always ensuring the individual takes responsibility for their own progress.

Performance Leadership Workshops
Leadership is seen directly through what people do and what they say. The impact of this on other people distinguishes the good leader from the bad. We define leadership as the behavioural aspects of the ‘Leadership Management Partnership’.
Performance Leadership is about improving performance. It’s about learning how, by changing your behaviour, you can accelerate other people’s performance, and ultimately deliver the results your business needs.
Our core suite of leadership programmes focus on the behaviour, behavioural preferences and behavioural impact of the individual. They take the manager through a discovery process where they learn about the behaviours of successful leaders, discover more about their own behaviour and what drives it, analyse what needs to change, and take responsibility for driving their own development programme.
Management Development Workshops
Our Management Development Workshops complement Performance Leadership and develop people in core and advanced management skills.
They are unique because we create them around the specific needs of your team and your business. Exercises and assignments have direct relevance to delegates’ everyday jobs. Performance management programmes use your reports and your data: The quality management programmes are built on real scenarios, and strategic thinking workshops are based on your business goals.
This way each workshop is transferred to the live environment to ensure learning continues in the workplace. Most importantly the programmes are delivered by first class trainers who have hands on experience of management in sales and service environments.
Programmes focus on the skill and knowledge aspects of running a team and cover operational skills such as performance management, change management, recruitment and personal skills including creative and strategic thinking, coaching and communication.
